I went out last night, drank some fabulous cocktails, met some wonderful people, and don’t even have a hangover! (it’s a better class of champagne in Chelsea, clearly darling)
So, we met for canapés (amazingly presented, and quite delicious), and champagne cocktails at the Beaufort House in Chelsea (King’s Road in London Village) – Simon, the co-owner was kind enough to show us around, and it really is quite a beautiful venue. I wish I’d known that they had such beautiful rooms on the upper floors when I was planning my wedding earlier this year!
Situated on the corner of Kings Road and Beaufort Street, it’s a great place for hanging out with the kids (colouring sheets and pencils kindly provided for distraction whilst the grown ups enjoy a Latte) – and upstairs, tardis-like, is surprisingly roomy, a fab venue for the next cupcake birthday party for the smalls! I’ll be following their tweets now @Beauforthouse as Simon is planning more kid’s activities after the success of their summer party earlier in July this year.
(And will definitely be going there again soon, without the children, as I can’t stop thinking about their signature rasberry bellinis) . . . cheers!
